JEMS History
The JEMS Project honors several community members who wanted to make a difference in their community. In June 2010, they discussed a desire to assist families who are, and may be, contending with Domestic Violence and Domestic Abuse.
Sharing some personal experiences, they were encouraged to 'do it'! Several community members donated their time, money, and expertise to help launch this honorable project.
In November 2010, The JEMS Project became an official entity in the City of Fayetteville, North Carolina and in May 2011, The JEMS Project became a 501(c)(3) organization. Since its conception, The JEMS Project has grown into a viable resource center for families progressing through these serious domestic issues.
The JEMS Project is honored to serve the Fayetteville and surrounding communities and look forward to growth in promoting education for prevention.
Thank you for your prayers and assistance!
